Calendar of Events
Our apiary meetings are aimed at beekeepers of all levels and intended to build on your beekeeping knowledge and experience. It’s a chance for you to meet other beekeepers, see different type of hives and beekeeping practices, ask questions and handle bees.
An experienced beekeeper will demonstrate inspecting hives, discuss seasonal beekeeping jobs and preparing for the practical tasks of the Basic Assessment (a practical exam taken after one full year of beekeeping). There will be a short introductory session for new beekeepers at the April and May meetings.
