WDBKA visits Silkstead Sunflower event, August bank holiday Monday 2024
There was lots of interest in our observation hive with a marked queen. Our display also included a hive, skep, smoker and honey tasting. It was a fun day, chatting about bees, lots of children went home with bee stickers and their hand rolled candles, we had lots of chats about honey bees and met at least two prospective new beekeepers.
